Rules and Regulations

Competition Timeline:

The competition will begin from 14th April, 2023 and end on 26th April, 2023. Deadlines for different stages of the competition, such as submission of test reports or bug findings. The timeline will be communicated to participants in advance through their registered email address.

Competition Scope:

The competition will specify the web application that participants are required to test. This may/may not include specific functionalities, features, or scenarios that participants need to test. Any deviations from the specified testing requirements may result in disqualification.

Submission of Test Reports: 

Participants must submit their test reports or bug findings in the specified format. Submissions must be made by the 26th April,2023 through a google form link on ContextQA website.

All the communications will be done through your registered email address. The web application to be tested will be provided on mail.

IMPORTANT

Intellectual Property: Participants retain ownership of their work, but by participating in the competition, they grant the competition organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and distribute their submissions for the purpose of the competition and any related promotional activities.

Judging Criteria: ContextQA team will be judging this competition. Their decision will be final and binding. The predetermined criteria, may include the quality and thoroughness of the testing, the accuracy and relevance of the bug findings, and the overall presentation of the test reports.

  • Signup on the ContextQA Portal.
  • Create a test case using recorder and assertions.
  • Execute the test case and showcase the result.
  • Download the video and upload on Google Form Link provided below.
  • Participants have to mandatorily upload a video on their social media accounts like LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter with the hashtag #BreakItToMakeIt #ContextQA. Kindly make sure the account is not private so that the video can be viewed by our panel of judges.
    • In the video the participant must give a short introduction followed by a very short explanation of what the participant has executed, how he has done it and how he saved time using the ContextQA platform.
